What We Do

VNA recognizes the unique struggles that veterans may experience, including isolation, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, suicidal thoughts, and other mental health conditions. Approx 22 veterans are lost due to suicide each day and VNA wants to break the stigma and assist in providing the help that our local veterans may need.

The VNA focuses on building a supportive community that fosters connections among veterans, recognizes those that were in service, promotes mental wellness and helps veterans access appropriate mental health services.

The organization provides a platform for veterans to network with each other, share their experiences, and offer support and guidance to their fellow veterans. Most VNA events are organized/held at businesses that are Veteran Owned.

In addition to its programs and services, VNA advocates for policies and initiatives that support veterans’ mental health, raise awareness about mental health challenges among veterans, and reduce the stigma associated with mental illness & suicide. The organization may also engage in outreach efforts to connect with veterans and raise awareness about its mission and services.

Overall, the Veterans Networking Alliance for Mental Wellness is dedicated to supporting veterans who may be struggling with mental health challenges, providing a supportive community, and connecting veterans with the resources and services they need for their well-being
